This unit would be an ideal backup generator for a business, workshop, farm, or industrial application.
When connected to one of our auto transfer switches (ATS), the unit can automatically start up on mains power failure and provide backup power until mains power returns.
It will then shut down and return to standby mode for the next power failure.

ENGINE
• Operates at 1500 rpm, direct injection 4-stroke diesel. Water-cooled with radiator available.
• Electronic governor to maintain a constant engine speed across all load conditions.
• Steel Skid mounted. Anti-vibration mounts between the frame and engine/alternator.
• Mechanical compliant with ISO3046 Class A1 and ISO8528 pt.5, Class G2 governing
• Efficient air filtration system. Dry type Donaldson Air filter with restriction indicator having filtration efficiency of 99.9%.
• Full flow spin on type oil filter.
• 12V electrical starter & battery charging alternator.
• Designed to perform in hot, humid & dusty conditions.
CANOPY
• Sound Attenuation canopy that keeping noise to 75 dBA @ 1m.
• Robust steel construction suitable for external placement.

ALTERNATOR
• Leroy Somer manufactured: 1-phase, 4-wire, 230V 50 Hz brushless alternator with IP23 protection.
• Self excited, AVR (Automatic voltage regulator) controlled and screen protected. 1.0% rated voltage regulation.
• Isochronous under varying load from no load to 100% full load. Random frequency variation shall not exceed ± 0.4% of its mean value for constant loads – no load to full load.
• Total harmonic distortion less than 5% at full load AC waveform.
• Class H insulation with temperature rise of 125C over ambient of 40C.
• Cooling fan mounted on shaft.

Orders are dispatched within 24-48 hours of payment clearing (during business days and if all item/s are in stock).
Store Pickup:
This option allows you to collect at your nearest CAPS branch. As all products are stored in our WA warehouse, please allow 2-4 business days for your order to reach your nearest CAPS branch first. Your local branch will contact you as soon as your order arrives. If you are based in WA, orders will normally be ready to collect within 1 business day.
Returns:
CAPS are happy to accept returns & exchanges on tools, parts and accessories within 30 days of the order being placed. The item just needs to be unused, in the original packaging, and you must have proof of your purchase. To request a refund or exchange, please call us first on 1800 961 943, or email returns@caps.com.au.
